On our journey through the societal landscape, we explore how rites and rituals govern us – but also how we might govern them.
Our artistic methodology and action-based practice guide us as we navigate the unknown and the ambiguous.
Complexity is our home arena, and we invite those who, together with us, wish to explore how rites and rituals can be used in our time – for instance, to face challenges, untangle dilemmas, dare to live with uncertainty, embrace the unknowable, or simply just allow oneself to be filled with wonder.
Rite Architecture do not build new houses. We neither can nor wish to create blueprints, building permits, or new plans.
Various rituals and rituals are today used to elicit money as a symbol of dominance — but how would money-making rituals that manifested e.g. equality affect the monetary system?
How can ritual farewells to dysfunctional artifacts and systems help us break our codependence on them?
Our Rite & Development department studies the rites and rituals that sustain society’s hidden myths. We also design and test new ones — to open up new horizons and possibilities.
